All robots 'were' fitted with isaac asimovs three laws, so i would say that unless this has changed then these would be mechanical failure-not knowledge...however i do feel that caution is always a good thing, after all humans have all the ability to not commit crimes yet we still do. I like this site but to be honest i am not really sure how serious it really is. Until now, nobody could define what is self-awareness. I think robots can be very useful to humans.
